LA, I’ll come home for you soon enough…
“Cockpit view of a twilight landing at Los Angeles airport, the Band is Sugarcult, they are rumoured to be touring? In the UK this year for the first time.
Great fun, especially if you’re familiar with L. A. geography
A fantastic video showing the STAR (Standard Terminal Arrival Route) into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) complete with music and a compressed time frame of 4 minutes and 6 seconds. Many of us have flown the exact same route hundreds of times. In great weather, one never tires of the phenomenal view of the Los Angeles area (hopefully without smog). This particular video is shot around twilight…showing the vivid hues and colors following a sunset. The landing takes place on Runway 24R which is the northern most complex of east-west runways at LAX. After touch down, you’ll see the aircraft taxi southbound to arrive on the south side of the airport for parking at gate 68A.”
This is an amazing cover of Kanye’s “All of the Lights”

My dad sent me this video from his colleague. To me, the best part isn’t the whale sighting, it’s the running commentary that reminds me of the double rainbow YouTube - hilarious. And the sight of sunny California just made me suddenly homesick…
Gwyneth on Glee, looks like she and Chris Martin will be a musical power couple after all =)

Not only was it efficient and cheap, there was only 1% construction waste. Crazy.
Oliver just sent me this cover of his favorite song from 2010, Cee-Lo’s “F*ck You,” performed by Peter Lee Johnson, whom I affectionately refer to as the “violin pledgy.” I’ve always thought he was so talented since I saw him at USC! Solid YouTube proof. Enjoy :)
Swoon. For those of you who speak French, pardon JGL’s edits ;)
