deadmau5 & Kaskade - I Remember

The type of music I’m listening to, in order to stay alive for the next three days.

Mean Girls - Disney mashup. Has it gone viral yet?

Joseph Vincent - Replay (cover)

Everything’s better in acoustic!!!!!

Mayer Hawthorne - Maybe So Maybe No

Zooey Deschanel & JGL. Love.

Tiger Woods: ‘I Was Unfaithful. I Had Affairs. I Cheated.’

Liz Phair - Extraordinary

Recommended by my roomie, and we love the opening sequence from Raising Helen. Liz is such a great lyricist, perfect for uplifting Bose jam sessions in the sorority house.

You think that I go home at night
Take off my clothes, turn out the lights
But I burn letters that I write
To you, to make you love me…

See me jump through hoops for you
You stand there watching me performing
What exactly do you do?
Have you ever thought it’s you that’s boring?
Who the hell are you?

I am extraordinary, if you’d ever get to know me
I am extraordinary, I am just your ordinary
Average every day sane psycho
Supergoddess
Average every day sane psycho

I’ve always thought Filipinos were insanely talented dancers… YouTube proof!

Liz Phair - Why Can’t I

High enough for you to make me wonder
Where it’s goin’
High enough for you to pull me under
Somethin’s growin’
out of this that we can control
Baby I am dyin’

Introducing, the Apple iPad. Not a fan of the name, but I guess iBook and iMac have been there and done that. And the world, yet again, is changed by Apple. So is this what I’ll be asking for as a graduation present?

This is incredible, though. Steve Jobs’ idea of “holding the internet in your hands,” you can tell that this device is really going to revolutionize the way people think about traditional computers. What a way mankind has come from clunky, immovable computers. This really makes me feel like the sky really is the limit, and those futuristic movies aren’t exaggerations - that is our future. And while I’m excited and ready to adapt to that change, part of me doesn’t want to let go of the childhood simplicity I enjoyed, a simplicity that my children probably won’t experience.

Lastly, let me just say, I still hate the idea of e-readers. Love live public library books!!!
